Description: Dodonaea viscosa is a popular hedge plant with an upright habit. The early settlers used the seed for brewing beer, hence the common name 'Hop-Bush'. Aborigines chewed the leaves to sooth toothache.

Cultivation: Likes a well drained soil and will tolerate dry conditions. Regular tip pruning will promote growth and a bushy habit.
