Description: Kunzea baxteri is a spreading shrub with spectacular flowers. Plants will take several years until they start to flower, but it is well worth the wait. It is hardy and easy to grow and will withstand strong winds and harsh coastal conditions. Honey eating birds absolutly adore the Scarlet Kunzea.
Cultivation: Likes a mediterranean climate with dry, warm summers and moist winters. Plant in a well drained, sunny position and prune regularly to obtain bushy growth.
