Description: The famous Tasmannia lanceolata or Mountain Pepper is a highly valued bush food plant which will add a unique flavour to a variety of foods. The leaves as well as the berries can be used, altough in order to produce berries male and female plants are required.
the berries are ripe when they turn black.

Cultivation: Requires a partly shady spot, moist but well drained spot.
